​The Oak Barrel Tour Co delivers exceptional private bourbon tour experiences!

Our specialty is private bourbon tours for groups ranging in size from 2 to 25 people..  We also offer private wine tours, special events, corporate events, birthdays, anniversaries, reunions, sporting events, proms, bachelor & bachelorette parties.  The Oak Barrel Tour Co is owned and operated by David and Lisa Coates.  David is an Executive Bourbon Steward, Certified Bourbon Steward and Certified Tourism Ambassador for the city of Louisville, Kentucky.​​
We absolutely love country back roads!  It's really amazing what's out there to enjoy!  Our passion is to share the wonderful experiences of local wineries, bourbon distilleries and unique festivals and events!  We look forward to sharing our passion for a fun-filled day with your friends and family.  Please join us on one of our custom tours to bourbon experiences, regional wineries or unique festival and events.  Our tour guides are knowledgeable on local history and the "in's and out's" of bourbon and wine tours.  They are friendly and excited to share their love for the regions wonderful experiences!   They are trained to provided the safest and most fun possible with your friends and family.
We use new Ford Transit vans and our newest addition, a 28 seat Chance Coach Trolley!  Our new Ford Transit vans have high roofs and rigid steps for easy entrance and exit.  Large windows with privacy glass provide unobstructed views.  Our new Ford Transit vans have extended length to provide more space and allow you to comfortably bring home that unexpected "find".
